Aeriniotis Yannis


Born in Piraeus, he began hs studies at the National Conservatory. Studying with Myrto Mavrikou, he received his Diploma  with full mark and first prize . He followed further studies in Moscow as scholarship recipient of the Hellenic-Soviet Association, and later on in Vienna. He has attended piano master classes with Duo Ganev and Lied accompaniment with Norman Shetler in Salzburg.
He has appeared in many recitals throughout Greece, including the Athens Concert Hall, while he had accompanied the Maria Callas scholarships, as well as the seminars led by the Bach Academy in Stuttgard . He has been permanent accompanist at the class of Grangiskos Voutsinos and Kostas Paschalis. Additionally, he has collaborated with the National Greek Opera for Orlando furioso of A. Vivaldi, Julius Caesar and  Alcina of G.F.Händel and Grand Macabre of  G. Ligetti. He was piano accompanist to many famous Greek opera singers, such as Lila Adamaki, Frangiskos Voutsinos, Jenny Drivala, Irene Karagianni, Mata Katsouli, Christophoros Stamboglis, Zachos Terzakis, Giannis Christopoulos etc. He teaches at Kodaly and the Athenaeum conservatories.
